Invisalign in Toronto

At Riverdale Dental, in Gerrard Square, our dentists offer orthodontic options for patients, including braces and Invisalign® to help straighten their smile.

At our practice in Toronto, dentist Dr. Hanieh Rahimi offers Invisalign® clear aligners and Dr. Sara Mortezania offers traditional braces. Ask your dentist at your next dental appointment about your orthodontic treatment options. We can schedule a consultation with you to discuss the results you can expect to achieve from orthodontic treatment.

Proactive treatment that addresses crooked teeth and issues with your bite can help the long-term development of the jaw. The important function of chewing and swallowing as well as other muscle functions can be improved through orthodontics.

Invisalign® in Toronto

Invisalign® uses a series of custom-fit clear aligners to gradually straighten teeth. The aligners are removable and suitable for both adults and teens!

What are the benefits of Invisalign®?

Invisalign® aligners are virtually clear and fit discreetly over your teeth. Unlike traditional fixed braces, you can remove your Invisalign® aligners whenever you wish. Being able to remove the aligners means that you can continue to enjoy your favourite foods and drinks without worry.

How does Invisalign® work?

Once we determine whether you are a candidate for Invisalign®, we'll take impressions of your smile. Invisalign® 3D imaging software will then be used to create a series of aligners. You'll wear each aligner in the series for about two weeks before moving on to the next aligner.

Traditional Braces in Toronto

We offer wire braces as a treatment option for our patients who are looking to correct teeth misalignment and restore proper form and function to their smiles.

Braces use a combination of brackets and wires to gradually shift the teeth over time, through constant, gentle pressure on the teeth.

What problems can be treated with orthodontics?
  • Anteroposterior deviations (an overbite or underbite)
  • Overcrowding
